Print Therapy

Print Therapy

Waqas Ahmed of Print Therapy grew up in a small village in Punjab. In 2005, he completed a degree in Fashion Design from Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (PIFD), where he has been mentoring students as Assistant Professor of Design Research since 2007.
With an eye for minutiae details, Waqas and wife Saba Waqas (née Muzaffer) launched their jewellery collection under the name of Print Therapy in 2013. Print Therapy’s philosophy is simple: jewellery that evokes emotion and celebrates the designers' personality, while voicing a stance on various social issues. The brand is primarily known for traditional Indian jewellery and miniature designs on fabric.
Print Therapy has collaborated with labels such as Zara Shahjahan, Jeem, Zonia Anwar and Generation at fashion weeks, and recently started retailing with a small capsule at Khaadi Khaas. It has been featured in publications like Paperazzi and Style Journal, and was also part of the International Fashion Showcase (IFS) London 2014.
